Our Bees
​
We are apiculture enthusiasts who raise honey bees in our farm and let them pollinate on our plentiful flowers and trees.
During winter or whenever there is no nectar or pollen available, we feed our bees with supplements composed of vitamins and essential oils which promotes strong and healthy hives during late winter, early spring, and during dearth's periods of nectar.
Our Supplements are antibacterial, antifungal, and antimicrobial, which aid in the overall well-being of the colonies. It also support the build up Packages and NUCs when added to your feeding regiment. It encourages bees to draw out new foundation faster when used as a spray, has a natural calming effect when sprayed on bees and also stops syrup fermentation.
Our Supplements are an effective feed additive for colonies in controlled hives. It promotes vitality in smaller hives and can be a great support for amateur beekeepers who need assistance with their bees’ health when nectar is low.
Our Honey

​Our honey is produced from the nectar of a variety of locally grown flowers within the county and we have labelled it "Concordia's Texas Wild" Honey. Thanks to our Honey bees we are able to serve you with the best local honey foraged within the county.
​Due to the varieties of nectar sources, this honey variety can come in colors ranging from very light to dark and flavors from subtle to fruity to tangy and rich.
Honey is known to fight seasonal allergies and works as a natural sweetener in juices and teas. It makes a great drizzle for pancakes and a good sugar substitute in cooking and baking.
BEEKEEPING SERVICES
We offer following beekeeping services:

Our Apiculture Line, Concordia Bees, represents our commitment to producing the highest quality bee products and providing the best in class services for our local community and the world beyond.
CONCORDIA BEE CARE

We use Langstroth hives with 10 frames each to grow colonies of bees.

We monitor regularly and treat for mites, pests and other diseases.

We provide supplemental feed during winter and dearth periods to ensure bee health and growth.

We expect with our quality care to produce about 20-30 pounds of premium quality honey per hive per year locally.
